Old Business
Who will make the fiberglass truck body parts.  Fink Auto Body was contacted, made a cab and rear.  Club offericers inspected parts and decided to give the business to Fink.  Prices for the parts would be $155 for a cab and $100 for a rear, plus tax.  Prices may lower when Fink gets more experience making the parts.  Club ordered 6 cabs and 6 rears.

Feature and semi feature truck count.  Ron Magdanz spoke to the club that during a meeting with the FRRC that our semi feature would be moving to right before the feature.  Discussion was held and a motion was made to have a minimum truck count of 6 for the semi feature and in the feature 14 will make it in on time, 2 will transfer from heat races, and no provisional will be awarded.  Motion was made by John Roeser, seconded by Randy Yeager.  Unanimous approved.

Other discussions with the FRRC included:
Lights will be left on in the street stock pit area till the end of races.
FRRC will supply more port-a-potties in the WST pits.
FRRC will supply more waste barrels.
FRRC will try to place security in the pits when we race.
The WST future is good and there's no talk about eliminating us from the program.

Randy Yeager asked the officers to clarify where or if we can test run trucks in the pits, i.e. drag strip or drag strip run off area.

Volunteers for the technical inspection committee were asked for, three members are needed.  Steve Rusch volunteered if he could run who and what gets inspected his way.  Steve will present the club with a proposal during the next meeting.  Eric Johnson and John Roeser also volunteered.

Technical inspection date for the trucks was discussed, proposed date would be May 5th pending availability of the RanderCar shop and if no away races would be run prior to that date.  A motion was made to impose a fine of $25 for those trucks not making the tech date and if the truck fails inspection the items must be remedied by the next club function.  Motion made by Kyle Quella and seconded by Eric Johnson.  Motion carried.

WIR practice date will be May 12, 2007.

Fuel testing.  Jerry Kornick was unable to attend meeting.  The fuel rule will stay as is.

Away series discussion.
Plover and Slinger want us to race at their tracks.  Slinger did say they would give us heat races.  Plover wants us the two WCS races and more if we can make it.  Dells was contacted but did not hear back.

Scott Baker addressed the club and John Huss is interested in sponsoring the club for $2000 for the year for both home and away series.  ALL trucks would be required to run a Midwest  Homes sticker.  Money would be split between home and away series evenly.  Also Wild Child Welding, Scott's company would put $500 towards the away series.

A straw vote was taken to leave the home and away series as is, majority was for, therefore the home and away series would stay as is.  A motion was made have 7 away dates, 3 at 141, 3 at Plover, and 1 at Slinger.  Motion was made by Kyle Quella and seconded by Jeff Looker.  Motion carried.

Tentative away dates:
May 18  Plover
May 28  Plover
June 9  141
June 24 Slinger
July 21  141
July 27  Plover
August 18  141

Discussion was held to change the year end payout for WIR to multiple dates.

New business
Ron Magdanz put a question on the website asking club members why they don't attend away races.

Scott Baker wanted to revisit the motor rules and asked why moving the spark plug wasn't illegal.  Ron Magdanz said it was legal and there would be no changes to the motor rules.  Any changes to the rules could be brought up during our discussions in Fall 2007.

It was asked by Eric Johnson if the meeting minutes could be put on the website quicker.

Next meeting to be March 21, 2007 at 7:00pm.

A motion was made to adjourn the meeting at 9:30 by Brandon Kucksdorf and seconded by Kyle Quells, motion carried.
