Meeting Date: May 5, 2007 Club meeting held at Rander Car during technical inspection day. Club president Ron Magdanz called the meeting to order at 12:00pm noon. No reports by club secretary or treasurer were read. Old Business Slinger race date – Club will run a dash before the regularly schedule feature. Dash will be 8 laps everybody will be in it and will score feature points. If the club has 16 or over trucks the dash will have a dice roll for determining line up, if less than 16 field will be full inversion. Feature race line up will be full inverted from dash. Please bring trucks to practice day to be technically inspected, the club wants to avoid teching on race day. Peggy Rusch spoke to the club about sponsorship from Midwest Homes Design. Every truck will be required to run a sponsor sticker on the right side of the truck, prefer the rear. The club will receive $2000 with half of the money going to the home series and half to the away series. Mueller's sales and service will give extra money for the Slinger race. New Business Discussion was held on modifications to the rears after the 2 and 22 showed up to tech day with 3 inch holes in the rears resembling tail lights. Ron Magdanz held a discussion, some key points: Ron Magdanz has run holes in the past, Eric Johnson from the tech committee commented the rules say no modifications to the rear, others wanted to know if holes/modifications were permitted how large of holes are acceptable. No motions were made, no official club votes were taken. A spreadsheet was passed out determining how many trucks would make the feature depending on truck count. It was reviewed and would be discussed after the meeting in small group discussion. Club members were asked to sign the yearly "hold harmless waiver". Entrance to our pits will be through the drag pit entrance. Meeting adjourned 12:45pm.
